I have two kids with crazy sensitive hair. Like annoyingly sensitive. This is the first and only brush they will use without complaint. It's really important to note, though, that when we first got it, I used it wrong; My husband was actually the one that did it correctly. I'm used to brushing hair with a regular brush, and I would start at the bottom of the hair, then work my way up gently, like you would with a regular brush...and the kids continued to complain like I was using a regular brush. Then one morning my husband brushed my daughter's hair and he just stuck the brush in at the scalp line and brushed down...and miracle of miracles, it worked. The absolute wrong way to use a normal brush is the RIGHT way to use the Knot Genie, apparently. We've brushed happily ever after since this grooming epiphany.
